Either on the early lift-serviced or earning turns after the late October dump?

I got my first turn-earning endeavor behind me and also scored powder turns in October which is the earliest I've ever skied so I should feel content. But to be honest, I'm pretty envious of those that scored lift-serviced last weekend/this week. If I knew Killington was going to open, I might have saved the vacation day I used last week.

All in all, I shouldn't have any regrets, and I'm more ahead of the game this season than most, but now I'm just longing for the season to start for good. I know there will be many replies here to the effect of "not worried about it", "no big deal", "plenty of skiing still", etc., but come on, keep it real - do any of you feel you missed out?

Nope...didn't miss it at all

I don't ever plan to ski until after the Thanksgiving weekend

I want natural snow on the mountain not just WROD covering a few trails

The River would've been fun and I'm not ruling out possible turns there on Sunday, but I'll be working late Saturday night, so unlikely. Killington looked pretty good this weekend from the reports, but not for $65.

I'll get my 20+ days one way or another

no regrets. i got it on with a french maid in the bathroom. got and exam from a nurse in the dj booth. my season don't really start untill mid november so i am cool. i love halloween wouldn't mis it for the world.

I do. I really wanted October turns since they're such a rarity around here. And even though I bitched about the cost of admission at K, it would have been nice to get on skis again. I could use a little mental health escape right now.

That said, I also realize that with having kids, I've limited my ability greatly to just pick up and do whatever I want, whenever I want. That isn't necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes, there are things that are just more important.

Yea, I feel I missed out, specially after I saw the videos. It won't be the last time. There will be plenty more opportunities to miss out this season!

Yep, saw it coming, saw it land, didn't go... and wish I did.

If my truck was fixed, I would have been up there...

Whole season ahead though, I will get my days in... SOON!

to be really honest, I was more jealous watching the Hunter video then the pictures of day 1 at Killington. I'm not kicking my self now...but when the end of the season rolls around and I'm looking to snare in another day, that's another story...

What’s this the “Haha, I skied and you didn’t” throw it in your face thread?

The only honest response so far.... ;)

So I guess anyone who doesn't answer that they are envious of you is a lier. Greg, I get you are proud of the fact you hiked for turns, but you're the one who needs to keep it real.
I'll get my 60 days in. If I could have pulled off going to Kmart I would have, circumstances wouldn't let me. I don't really care, it's no big deal to me. If you think I'm being dishonest, well...I really don't care about that either.
