I doubt it. New Year's Eve is a big deal and like Brian said, it is a vacation/holiday week. Most ski resorts depend on the extra traffic that usually arrives during this week.

Hmmm, I'm going to start pulling some strings for Saturday.

Vacation week or not it's been high 50's past couple.. Just curious as I'd like to get out in the next few nights.

They still have tons of snow pack so I wouldn't worry about it too much...

The mountain is 100% open. A few brown spots here and there, but nothing major. Base is anywhere from less than a foot to probably over 5+ feet in spots. Their ski report says 25-35". I would say that is pretty accurate for most of the mountain. The thaw is over and the mighty Sundown came through it just fine. Expectations of the conditions should be realistic though. CT packed powder at its finest. It's scratchy out there. Snowmaking to resume only at night later in the week. Chris won't fire up guns on the holiday crowd.
