I think in general, robots will soon turn sentient and rise up against humanity in what will become an epic battle between man and machine, until we are saved by a certain elected official of California.

I found an essay written by the student who originally started the project.

He joined the ski racing team at the university although he had only skied once while in high school. He was hardly competitive against other skiers who have been skiing since younger age, but at the end of 3rd season, he came up with a technique to ski better.

To demonstrate his skiing technique works, he chose to build skiing robot as his graduate project based on his theory. The essay is in Japanese but there are links to a couple of short videos of the robot skiing.

;-)...Was initially just a pessimistic shot at Mgmnt...however maybe stationary robotic Patrollers ..scanning speeders' passes/tickets during "peak" hours could help......maybe...y/n?



*EDIT:...think I was in need of coffee this afternoon!..;-) Flesh in blood Patrollers do all this very well....

robot lift operators wouldn't be so bad. maybe they'd actually tilt the seat a little bit to keep it from hitting my calf (like they're supposed to).
