Looks like most people are betting on Sunday River. I can't wait for the snow guns to start firing, then we'll know for sure after not too long.![]()

I always thought the best set up for early and late season skiing would be Cannon Mt with the Profile Chair trail pod and Up and down loading via the tram. I guess being owned by the state, it will never happen. My belief is that the elevation would allow making and retaining snow while the valleys were still bare.

Nope. I haven't made it out that way to ski yet. Not because I have anything against the mountain or anything, it's just kinda far away from here. There's lots of closer places... Someday I'll make it.
I am a big fan of T2 early season at the River...

Last year when they were shoveling snow, actually putting it in trash cans and puttiing the cans on the chairs to take it to the top to re-build the ramps after several NCP events..... That is what is was all about to me. They did not make money, but made some skiers happy. I would bet they sold some season passes for being open early and closing late.
