The MogulQueen comes out of hiding!

In my mind I'm already up there.

In reality I'm just hoping to live vicariously through other's TRs tomorrow...

I haven't been hiding, I've been in training so that I can enter the Men's division in the mogul challenge this year :)

I heard about that. You get any turns in yesterday?

Nope, but Darcy did. She said she was gonna call you to come up with the Yankees' off day. Guess you didn't get the memo.

Apparently the wakeboarding is EPIC!

Hoping this will continue. I remember last year being cold, and then being warm. Fingers crossed we continual to get snow with no warm-ups.

I love Darcy. Hope she invites me over to ski with her this season. She's really cute too.

So did anyone get any turns in? Where are the TR's and pics?
Alright, here ya go. Skiing solo so no action shots, unfortunately. Low cloud ceiling and generally a terrible day for pics. But you can at least get the general idea...

This is my earliest non-lift serviced October skiing. Last year I skied SR on 10/16. Today was a MUCH better first day of the season compared to last year!

And if you don't want to click through and read my blah blah blah let me save you the effort and say that this is not enough for Killington to open. BUT they did have groomers out there packing (not tilling) the snow in the North Ridge area and Great Northern to the bottom for snow preservation. If they can get a cold snap before it melts.... Advantage: Killington (who now has no excuse if SR beats them).

Sounds like they're planning on making snow on top of it, then...

Monday 12:30AM?
If they can get snow making down on top of that packed down base, no one need worry about bringing rock skis when they open cuz they'll have a bomber base. The problem is the snow is melting from both the top and bottom. So can they blow in time to retain any of that packed down base? Time will tell. I think the skiing should be good for at least a few more days on the non-groomer packed... though it may not be T2B after tomorrow.
