Top to bottom, indeed. They really are blowing the snot out of the place today. First pitch of Lower Punch under the guns was great but I wish they could have blown more snow lower down last night. The second half of Lower Punch was definitely skiable all the way to the lift with enough coverage but conditions were teeth rattling hard pack. Nice getting top to bottom in, though!

Aside fro the AZ folks who ski SR regularly, I was happy to see some old AZ friends (Snoseek) I haven't seen in some time, meet some others a gain, (Deadheadskier), and meet some for the first time (thetrailboss).
I actually think the snow surfaces were better yesterday, top to bottom, but I did like seeing all the guns blazing.
It was indeed weird that part of Punch didn't get love last night when there was clearly the capacity and temps for it.
Fun weekend!

Sunday River is indeed open top to bottom. The lower half is, um, interesting, but it is open without hiking.

They were still snowmaking up high when I left at 3pm. FWIW Sugarbush is not blowing snow and it was 32 F at the base of LP when I drove by tonight. My sources say there are technical difficulties.

Nice seeing you Bob. Lots of fun. Next weekend? And I am working on the pictures right now....
