Just wondering who else had to take a pass on this weekend...I know a lot of AZers are more dedicated and will work their lives around opportunities like we have, but work and family stuff is keeping me close to home for this one. As much as I'd like I can't make it out every weekend.

What I am hoping for is that conditions will still be decent next weekend when I may be able to get out.

I got out to the local hill on Friday morning. It started getting good just as I left, the new snow was definitely nice. Can't go anywhere else this weekend for various reasons. Bummed that I missed it, but hoping there will be other powder days for me this season.

Unplowed roads kept me from reaching the bus to K today :'( Why the f^€£ are taxes so expensive here?

My wife is one of those 'essential personnel' (nurse) so I've been keeping her mobile and keeping the home fires burning. Not too upset as I have a paid day off and a $9 lift ticket for Ragged this Thursday.

Family stuff got me tied down this w/e. I don't mind since freshies isn't my thing..... I like the leftovers. Got some paid time off coming to me, going to scout Nashoba in the next couple of days to see how the bumps shape up. Otherwise I may head to Crotched, they generally leave a section under the lift alone.

I'm not upset I missed this weekend. It wasn't that big a storm where I ski in central/northern VT. Spoke to a friend last night & he said while skiing was excellent he guesstimated that K only got about 8" out of it. Besides I don't ski weekends. Hopefully I'll get some with the precipitation expected early this week

Not upset, got to enjoy digging out 19" from the backyard. Seriously though, we got hit good in CT with the blizzard, and driving was not something that was going to happen. Down here not too bad, but New Haven county was a whole different story, and to get to VT that's where we would have had to drive through, heard 95 was a complete wreck even today. There's always next weekend though, hoping to get up to Lake Placid and get some Whiteface, it's been too long.

I managed to get 6 runs in this weekend out of an anticipated 50. My car broke down at the ski area so that made things a little tricky.

Based on the weekend's trip reports so far there was good stuff to be had if you didn't mind all the SIMBYs...

Didn't get to the AZ summit but it was 3 days of great skiing for me. Sometimes, you just have to be a little creative: Wachusett on Friday (was on the road during the car ban and drove past staties who just smiled at me), on a NELSAP golf course in my neighborhood on Saturday (that was a legit powder day) and Sunday River on Sunday hitting glade after glade after glade.

I missed it. Twisted up my left knee something fierce last time out. I was so furious about that, I took another run and it was probably my best run ever in terms of speed and aggressiveness. My husband couldn't catch me and that was awesome. Not sure it was long-term smart, though.Great weekend, still - God, I love snow.
