How did you guys do in the bmmc today?

I crashed as usual. 180 had one of the faster qualifying times so he went on to the duals today. I left this morning so I don't know what happened today.

Have no idea nor do I care what happened in the competition.

Thanks for the meaningful contribution to this thread. I'm sure your fellow AZers who skied their asses off in the competition certainly appreciate it.

Party on, dude.

BMMC is a party with a mogul comp going on, 90% of the people there could care less about the comp, so yes his contribution was meaningful.

The partying was great. Have no idea nor do I care what happened in the competition. Fort Nyberg rocked.

Was yours the camp on top of the snowpile in the auxiliary lot behind the stage? If so that looked awesome.

If was even close to matching your description, it must have been the party of the year!

BMMC. Bear Mountain Mogul Challenge. Sounds like a mogul skiing competition to me. I'm sure the competitors appreciate the encouraging words! ;)

I guess 90% don't appreciate bad ass skiing like this!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1396880318.721348.jpg

As a competitor I will chime in that the partying is a mandatory part of the festivities and we need more campsites to keep this long standing tradition going. Nothing makes me feel better than looking down at the scene from the start. I tied for my best day one ever at 9th and losing in the round of 16 on day 2 to an Ex world cup skier is fine by me. I beat him down by a mile but sadly this 51 year old body can't do a triple daffy. I'll post some videos later if I get a chance.

PS. Do you think we can get HWS to dual me?

The partying is fine. I would be happy to have a beer in hand - however I would also be enjoying the comp!

Nicely done, 180.

If you go by that picture with 20 people watching i would say 90% couldn't care less.

No that wasn't us but we had our tent set up right next to the entrance to Fort Nyberg. The kids even dug a tunnel through the mountain of snow connecting the two sites. I thought they dug out the Fort themselves but learned they had an excavator dig it out. Regardless it was pretty cool. The two parties kind of merged together during the day. There were quite a few large tailgate parties going on in the auxiliary lot in addition to the sites set up on the mountain.

We did have one junior competitor in our group. He crashed & burned off the first jump but I do believe he acheived the most height off the jump out of all the competitors. He was a little over zealous.

It was a great day & I think everyone (competitors, partiers or both) had a good time. I even got to meet many of my fellow K-Zone posters for the first time.
