So Sugarbush would not sell Mt. Ellen only ticket to one of my guests yesterday instead trying to force a full priced all mountain. They were pretty offended as they have come up here every year the past six and have bought day of in the past. As a result, he decided to check out Bolton (yawn) instead. Surprisingly thin crowd there, but grooming was good for mostly sleepy turns in bluebird with light wind.

ME-only tickets are only sold M-F. That's been the case all year. Pretty odd decision if you ask me, but also not a secret as it has been posted on the lift ticket page of the website all year.

Thread is being locked. Maybe over the course of the next few days I'll find the time to get rid of the now hundred plus posts on both sides of the aisle that aren't convincing anyone to think or believe differently. When that's done, I'll unlock it and people can hopefully stick to talking about skiing Sugarbush and other non political discussion concerning the MRV. I'll get to cleaning this up, but it's a low priority for me.

We do let some politics slide on AZ, but this is ridiculous.

Unlocked. You may now continue with the regularly scheduled programming.

Note: I was heavy handed and if I removed a post of yours that was benign, sorry about that. If I missed a post that strayed too political and left it, well I'm sorry about that too. What I did was leave enough of the comments to mark the event happening and the local response to it while keeping things as moderate as possible.

Please let's get back on track with the intent of this thread and forum,....a shared passion for Sugarbush and skiing.

Thanks

In the spirit of talking about skiing, look like they are planning on putting in a 250 foot magic carpet at Ellen. Looks like it will go further down or higher up than Tommy's Toy which is only 75 feet.

Needed for beginner lessons by the ski school and VT Adaptive. Can't do those very well right now.

Nice job DHS. It's an thankless non-paying job,... so I thought I would at least thank you!

Personally, I try to stay away from news sites and this is my go-to place for a mental break,... its much better when we stay clear of politics.

Well to help out with back on the Snow tracks can say I enjoyed a easy cold day on Sunday at the bush. ZERO lines and all day ski on lift pretty much. The groomers were fast and the woods much nicer. Little wind and 2 to -something isn't bad at all. Glad I opted out of Jaypeak as all upper lifts were closed all Sunday.

Sub question. HOW do I upload my pictures it keeps saying too large and resizing each photo and then re-saving then is harsh.
