100 trails open at the Bush

With the opening of Mt Ellen today the Bush is aiming for 100 trails to be open this weekend. The skiing is going to be awesome. Wahoo!

Have no idea of the what the connection between GF and packing digital heat means but I just got home and the Bush already has 6-8" of the lightest sweetest powder, almost in the "cold smoke" catagory and it's still coming down strong.

I thought it was definitely powder and lighter than anything we've had so far this season, but it still crunches and packs underfoot.

ETA: SRO, on second thought, you might be right. It was heavier earlier, although still powder, but when I went out just now to shovel the decks again, the last couple hours worth of snow was very, very light.
