All lifts ran all day at Burke.

Driving home on I-93 at I approached the Notch, my car was being blown several feet sideways due to high winds. Worst wind I have ever driven through.

Aren't the Burke lifts pretty close to the ground? I think that's true about Bolton too.
Top of the Willoughby Quad is actually pretty high off the ground. Burke's aspect usually shields it from the worst winds. The Sherburne Quad is lower on the mountain and is standard height for a chairlift. The Poma and J-Bar are of course as low to the ground as a lift can possibly get without being a rope tow.
