April 6-8 of 2007 was really nice. But I reaaaally liked the 13th of that year:

I think that was the year that MRG put shovels out on Bunny in late March asking skiers to help fill in the bare spots and then BOOM April was off the hook for two full weeks straight. Awesome end of the season, that year.

I'll try to take some pics tomorrow just for some stoke. Wanted to today but the snow/wind/cold was sort of unbearable for pics. When we got shafted earlier this year I found the Saddleback reports therapeautic.

I remember the spring of 07, my last skiing in New England, how epic it was. That was skiing at it's finest for sure.

YAAAARRRR 07 was a great ending.

gendateplot.php3

is that just a glitch in the mapping? It looks like it drops from 100ish inches on 4/12, down to 6 inches on the 19th then back up to 66 inches by the 26th.

I would think it would be virtually impossible to lose 94 inches of snow pack in a week at the elevation of the snow stake. The flooding that would bring would be massive as well.

Absolutely right about late March, winter was over and then came roaring back. My favorite was 4/22 - I think it was a late Patriot's Day and everything was wide open. First time I was able to ski Feline ever at Wildcat as well as Hairball and Al's Folly without worrying about ruining a ski. As you drove through Jackson, there were patches of snow. Just below Pinkham Notch, the snow just piled up.
