It's been over two weeks since I last skied and for the first time since I became an avid skied in 6th grade(1991)..I'm dealing with the fact that my ski season is over very well. How are you taking it? Are you feening? I'm taking advantage of the off-season to set aside money for next ski season and just enjoy everyday...I can't believe I'm saying it but there's life away from skiing..

I'm pretty cool right now. Totally accepted it. Considering getting back into mountain biking to have an off-season activity, perhaps with some other AZers.

Its over but new activities are just beginning. Golf, Mountain biking, road biking. Think I am going to get into some sort of paddling act this summer to work my upper body. I used to go the gym but cant stand it anymore. I live in the mountains, everytime I have been in the gym I think to myself why the heck am I here when I have everything outside.

This time of year, it's rather easy for me to accept just simply because as other's have pointed out, there's alot of activities that we've put off over the last few months because of either our on hill addictions or weather.

After a few months of golfing, hiking, running outside, and just generally enjoying warm weather activities, that's when the ski itch really gets me.

I've had plenty of time to accept it since it ended March 6th. :-(

Keeping myself entertained here and looking forward to next season. I'll have physical therapy to keep me busy for the summer. Need to get the yard in good shape before surgery. Putting in raised garden beds this weekend.

I've pretty much accepted that my season is over, no matter how much I really want to go up and hike for those last few turns to get day #31 in for the season. I work quite a bit in the summer so it usually goes fast enough to not really worry about the ski season too much and I hike as much as I can. It's usually when I go back to school in the fall that things slow down and skiing can't come fast enough.

Anybody on here have a summer ski trip planned? As I make more money and have more vacation time..I want it to become part of my annual routine.

That's risking loosing some body parts when swimming in the ocean up in Maine!

Literally gives a new meaning to "blue balls"

Wimps! I spent a summer on an island just south of Rockland and took a morning dip everyday, regardless of weather. It's a great way to wake up.
