Id be interested to hear why (sorry to get you started). I haven't been to wachusett in years, but i haven't heard anything bad about them (except that they groom everything flat twice a day).
I worked for the Crowley's for 8 seasons as an instructor and from my own observations, some of the family members (Carolyn and David) were controlling micro managing types that really didn't care much about their employees. In the past they have sold more tickets than they should and overbook lessons on a regular basis. Especially the kids programs during school vacation week!

Yet they still get my money because of the convenience factor and it has nice progressive terrain pods for beginners and intermediates
