Doesn't Snowbird stay open as long as they can?
And as long as the business supports it. Even out in SLC, there's tend to be a shrinking interest in sliding on snow once the 2nd half of May and beyond arrives

Even the hardcores get very selective about thier days. Plenty of warm weather activities to be had out there as well.
Well isn't the main reason behind Alta closing so early even with so much base, is that their forest service permits don't allow operation beyond X/XX?
They do have a lease but I don't know what the details are. Obviously Snowbird is in the same National Forest. I know Solitude was closing last weekend. Don't know about Brighton.
