Cannon Rocked 3/24

I just joined the forum, happy to have founded this!
I scored a super day at Cannon on yesterday (3/24). Solid 4 inches plus on the mountain on top of previously refreshed base. Not exactly epic but a lot of fun.
I even caught a bit of untracked powder to lay my signature in at 2 pm.
If the rains are not too persistent, I'm heading back this Saturday.
On the other hand, I still have a couple of Mad Passes to use up, so maybe back to Mad River to really destroy my legs. I'm still hoping to score some corn!!

Looking to get to the B'east this Sunday. Then a day during the week of April 12th, probably Stratton or Okemo, but also thinking Belleayre. I've been ending my season mid April for a few years now. I've noticed that by around 4/20 every area that is a day trip for me shuts down. Maybe, just maybe I'll go to Killington May 1st or 2nd and ski Superstar's moguls. Looks like we're heading to Butternut on Sunday, just to ski the morning. They're still at 100% so there's plenty of terrain to be had there...

i take my previous comment about upcoming ski days back. i never got to cannon or burke before the warm up and rain. i believe with 99% certainty that i just ended my 2004 ski season today at wildcat. some awesome bumps, but everything was looking pretty ugly. looking to be hiking by next weekend!

for the record, this is 3+ weeks sooner than last year that i ended my ski season and nearly a month prior to beginning the hiking season.
