I live in the Lehigh Valley just south of the Poconos and mainly ski Blue mountain when I'm not on ski trips. Anybody else live in PA or ski in PA? I met alot of people to ski with over at www.paskiandride.com but I'm hoping to meet even more people to ski with on this forum. Nothing better than having 4 or 5 six-packs worth of skiers/riders to ski with at the local hill..

Not too many from PA, but more than a few from NJ.

I used to live in PA. Denton is the only place I really liked. It's the closest thing to real new-england skiing in PA, IMHO.

I live in NJ, and ski Sno/Montage Mtn and Blue a lot, as they're both great areas and the closest places to ski for me (other than Mountain Creek, which I'm not going to return to).

Cool, the great thing about Blue is that they open at 7:30AM on weekends..and they have two high speed lifts which service most of the runs.

I last skied Elk in 1995..the slow lifts and 2+ hour drive have scared me away..I'd rather drive an extra hour and be at Belleayre..or just go to VT..

I lived in the south western part of the state for a spell. While I did miss it AT ALL, I got by skiing Seven Springs. The North Face actuallly had some decent trails with 600 verticle and consistent pitch. I will say, while the skiing isn't anything special, the people at Seven Springs definitely know how to party.

It was...Made a ton of enemies... But also made a lot of friends..
Actually hooked up at Hunter with a couple...

Same ole, same ole. Hunter has legit terrain, and anyone that hammers that place should get straightened out. I can't wait for the next poor unknowing soul to wander in here and bad mouth the mighty Hunter. Bring it!! ;)
