My wife sent it to me. i had to point out to her the numerous flaws in the guys logic. Not the type of article quality that I would expect from NPR.

100% of the comments have ripped him on not knowing what the hell he's talking about.Sounds like most of the liberal crap thats associated with NPR these days.People can't take responsibility for themselves anymore?

Maybe this guy should get off the magic carpet. He might realize that the best terrain involves some risk! I hope Schumacher makes a full recovery and is able to get back at it. Peter May should probably just stick to sitting on his couch.

I knew this article was in trouble when I read

there was one I had never seen: off-piste.

This guy is expressing an opinion that is uninformed!

It is just a blog, but supposedly the posters have some area of expertise on what they are posting.

Well for context there is the obligatory Sonny Bono comment. I hate when people throw the Sonny Bono comments out there the moment a ski related injury is mentioned. Just shows how ignorant these people are.
