One of my passes is accepted there and I am seriously considering going up next week to scope it out. I've visited their website and it looks like an interesting place.

This is their trail map....some good terrain variety it appears.

Has anyone been? Any trail recommendations (for someone who enjoys skiing all kinds of trails...but old school trails are my fav as well as steep terrain...)

If you go, you and your stomach really, really, really owe it to yourself to stay and have dinner in the main dining room. You won't regret it, but your waistline might ;)

If you're planning on staying over, I'd wait a while. We're currently renovating the hotel & it's gonna be pretty snazzy once completed.

Do you work there? I'd like to hear more about both the skiing and the hotel. I've thought it would be a fun (albeit expensive) weekend destination for my wife and I. It's also kind of a long drive from southern RI.

Having stayed there multiple times for my family's semi-annual summer get together, it's worth the drive! The way you're treated there and the amount of activities that exist for folks of all ages is phenomenal. The first time I went I was thinking "how the heck am I going to endure a 4 day weekend without a TV in my room??" The ride back home I was saying to my wife that I didn't even realize that there wasn't one in the room, there's that much to do.

The food - amazing. The service -great. The accomodations - great (classic old New England grand hotel). I now look forward to returns trips back there and opening up my car door and hearing "welcome back to the notch"

Don't work there, just a consultant.

I've been. It's not a challenging mountain, but if you just want to relax and cruise, it's a great place. You may as well try it out!
