Ok...i have the time and inclination to go up to the Bll on sunday with my 2 kids for the day. My son skis free for his birthday, daughter gets a jr ticket and i ski full price...do you think the conditions will even worth my while? Did anyone ski there today<saturday>? I can leave last minute and get up there in about 3 hours....im whining because next weekend i have to work and i dont know when i will be able to get out again unless i take some time off from work which is very hard to do right now. What do the AZers think?

I just called my friend Andy who skied Belleayre today. I asked how the conditions were. He said, "Icy and choppy. You didn't miss anything." I asked what was closed that had been open, he said, "Utsayantha, and there isn't a lick of snow on the old terrain park." (he means "area 51" which is lower Utsayantha and was open last weekend. All the natural snow is gone. The open trails are all those that they had blown snow on. He didn't say it was terrible. But it sounds like you better have really sharp edges.
