From everything I've seen, I would say Okemo has the best man made bumps. Au natural, probably MRV

Okemo has the best seeded bumps. To bad they lack pitch
MRG has the best spring bumps hands down.

So a web site created by a Sugarbush employee writes an article (advertisement) for their employeer about their own father. Shilling has reached a new level here...

of places i've skied and based on recent (last 2-3 years) experience

Sugarbush
Okemo
Killington (they used to OWN this one)
Mt. Snow
Sundown

Cant believe sundown makes the list, but i have to put it there for complete and total consistency. they are always there and usually fairly good.

Call it how you like. Doesn't bother me. It is what it is. The website has no direct connection to Sugarbush. No sponsorship or partnership, and I run the site how I want. So what if I'm a Sugarbush employee? And just because my dad runs the hill means what I wrote is invalid? Facts are facts. The article outlines the plan. I wrote it because I could.

I'm a strong Sugarbush advocate, obviously, but I'm not afraid to point out the shortcomings and be realistic. It just so happens that Sugarbush DOES have the best moguls in the east. That opinion is based on the various areas that I have personally skied, and the opinion of plenty of mogul skiers who have skied many areas in NE.

Anyway... I'm through posting in these threads, because I obviously can't be taken seriously by folks like you. I mean, hell... I groom for Sugarbush and my dad works there... I guess that means that nothing I say could have any truth to it

Okemo??? Seeded or not I don't get how Okemo gets mentioned as the best in any actual ski terrain category (maybe best slopeside condos everywhere category, and to be fair, snowmaking, of course).

Best Bumps..haven't been everywhere to say, but these are some of my favorites

There's no one run, but I'm partial to:

1. Spillsville, Sugarbush-it's short but it has great pitch, well protected snow and just forms really big, round bumps.

2. Rumble, Sugarbush: Steep, twisty, narrow and full of realy, really steep bumps.

3. National and Lookout, Stowe-both great bumpers-lookout if you like the funkier Terrain features and National for a LONG traditional bump run.

4. Vertigo-Killington. Yeah, you'd expect Outer Limits or Double Dipper, etc, I like this one better, narrower, better lines.

5. The North Face Trails, Mount Snow-So often over looked but PDF, Jaws, etc-lots of great bumpy terrain

6. Bear Trap, Mt Snow-love the short two-seater lift, love the direct southern exposure and sunlight, it's way short but forms really great bumps.

7. Lift Line, Berkshire east. Narrow, and it's natuural rocks and ledge features set up some of the nicest bumps in the business. No really, Berkshire east liftline skied from the very top (right off the lift) is the Cat's Meow.

Those are some of my favorites.

Okemo has bumps everytime i've gone. you most certainly can not say that about liftline at berkshire east or the north face which was groomed out more often then not last year.

Its all fine and good to say a place has good bumps but if they are only there 10% of the time, cant see how that would qualify.

certainly wouldnt consider rumble a bump run per se either. an awesome run with rocks, trees, stumps and bumps. but a true bump run? not really.
