Best route to Stowe from NJ

was it before 9/11?
see 9/11 change the equation for a lot of people, including me. on a bad day, it take me 2-3 hours to JFK. It normally takes 90 min. Newark flights are few and much more expensive. Add security check. Not fun and not fast.

I'm from Jersey and used to live/work at Stowe during school. That was the route I used to take when venturing back to the motherland. I've tried all the others mentioned but found that the bridge to 87 was the easiest and usually the fastest.

Have fun, I'm dying to get back to Stowe myslef!
