Best ski area for early season skiing?

I can never figure out why people ski on rocks and grass in early November, but give up by early April with the whole mountain open with deep, soft bases!

No reason to be up here skiing in Oct. and Nov. There's never any good skiing until at least March.

and to add to this thread, K really does have an awesome roll out when it comes to advanced terrain and they can really open up trails fast. BRING IT ON!
