Breckenridge Peak 6 Expansion (What's going on?)

I was curious if the ski areas out by loveland had anything "up there sleeves" for this year in time for my second trip out there and found that Breckenridge had plans for expansion to peak six!

However, there is alot of conflicting information on this expansion!

Was it approved? (it seems to have been as of August 22) (link has articles)
But then it was rejected today

Is it still on plan? Are they going to continue through it? Whats going on!!?

Breckenridge is entirely too small. This should help it draw enough traffic to make it one of the most visited resorts in the Rockies.

The appeal by those who were against it was rejected, meaning that the plan will move forward.

It will be nice to have a few more trails to ski down at Breck. I'm not sure what all the Links talk was about since it isn't going to link Breck with any neighboring resorts.
