Was there and watched some of it today. Nice course. Landing on top air was real short, so airs were conservative. Bottom they were launching.

Will post up a few photos in my trip report.

Middle line between the two course was money this afternoon when it opened to the public. Airs were closed off. I'll never get that. They let people huck 60 foot gaps throwing inverts, yet airs in the bumps are off limits unless your on the freestyle team or it's a comp............or sundown......

no clue

seemed like 90% young dudes competing today. couple 30+ guys, but pretty young overall. I know one of the coaches, again young, from Sunapee did pretty well.

I got 2nd!!!!!!

1st Troy Murphy
2nd Jason Beaudet
3rd Mark Paaso
4th David Stiefel

Deadheadskier's 5th pic in his TR has a pic of me in the quarterfinals. Small off the top air, no way!!! Felt like I was going huge.

I have the results at home if you want me to look anyone up. I'll try to post a pic of the bracket board later if I can figure out how. They didn't have separate divisions this year for USSA and non-USSA. Everyone was mixed together and with the Killington Classic canceled, there was a lot of Gould, CVA, and Sunapee kids there. They also took the top 48 this year for duals, with the top 16 getting a 1st round buy. I like this, Killington should do this next year for Bear.

congrats. people were going big up top, but not like the bottom. I guess that's pretty normal for a comp anyways. That 5th pic down is from the bottom air. Which one was you? green pants or black

Congrats!

Murphy is really good, USSA. How close was the final?

I was told it was close. He got me by about a half ski length on speed. He was throwing sweet 360 truckdrivers off the top air.

Bigtime Congrats moguler6, but you don't need that...lol.
The ones that go for air always used to get screwed by the latte-sippin' judges...;-), especially over at K... Too bad it wasn't held ~100mi north...still had pretty good(dry) snow in places. Spitting snow, very finely....this morning in Bangor...lol....go figure.
