Hiked Mt. Ellen yesterday....and then went over and drooled at the snowmaking work on LP. I'm definitely stoked....

Set up my ski shop this morning.

Bring on the snow!! I thought I was ready until I got the flu last week. Went mountain biking today for the fist time since getting sick and tossed my cookies. Plenty of time to get back in shape and this colder weather is all the motivation I need.

I just want to officially say that I'm officially pumped for the ski season!!!!! Skis are all tuned and ready, got new gloves this season (cold weather and spring gloves), poles are cut shorter, and I'm getting new tires mounted up on the Jeep today. My season starts in 5 days hopefully!

Who started tried their boots on in September?
That's an annual ritual around here. Including having (now both) kids try ours on. As well as some nights (or days) just hanging around the house with them on. Heck, who am I kidding? I'd wear them all the time if I could, just to keep the excitement up! :daffy:

I am so pumped...

I only started skiing last year (March), so I'm really excited to get out there and get better...

And here's the best part... I just found out that I have 6.5 more vacation days sitting in my time bank than I thought!!! (I thought I only had 2 for the rest of the year, turns out I have 8.5!!!) I'll probably take a week off in January, and just go skiing all over New England... and I'm so amped for it!!!

BRING ON THE SNOW!!!
