He talks a big game about goats and ski bunnies and fire safety equipment, and he's all the time coming up with all kinds of scientific physics stuff.

I don't think that means he can ski. If he's so good at engineering and stuff, how come we don't have any videos of him engineering? I have seen the goat videos. While the production values are high, the subject matter is lacking.

I've seen him ski, he's a great skier. I would love to see what he would ski like if he could afford a real pair of skis as opposed to the 2x4s he's been using

This will get silly, I'm sure, but I'll try to be a little bit serious.

I think Marc has only been skiing something like 5 or 6 seasons. Given that, he really is an excellent skier. Seems like he's naturally very athletic and has excelled at the sport in a very short period of time which is as annoying to me as his posts. ;)

Imagine what he could do if he got rid of the goat that he has strapped to the front of those 2x4x!

I skied with him once. That goat-lover can ski. Looked really good in the bumps. Actually half the time I skied with him he was going backwards on the Canyon Run runout at Sundown.

I think the last thing we need is a Marc inflating ego thread. Keep it up and next weeks headlines will read:

"NE CT skier dies in an attempt to ski the Tuckerman Ravine Headwall during a period of High avalanche probability"
