Big development going up during the next 3 years. They are building a slope-side village with 125 condominiums. Retail shops and new parking. Another new lift is also added sometime soon. I see it good and bad.

Really?! I don't think of Catamount as much of a destination resort. And with the new quads, where do they need another lift? I think they should concentrate on terrain expansion more than anything else. What they have is very good and I like Catamount, but there really are only 2 or 3 expert runs off the summit. I wonder if they could squeeze in another Catapult-like short and steep drop somewhere off Ridge Run. I do like the bumps lines they let set up on Off Stage and skier's right of Glade, and of course Catapult is a great run.

They did not say anthing about new trails...:-( They also metioned that they want it to be a year round resort. Not sure if that new lift they were talking about was the one from this year or another new one.
