Just when you think you've seen them all.

Went out for an errand about 8 am. About 2" light pow on the ground. Saw a couple walking down the middle of the street with snowshoes on. Something tells me this was the first and will be the last time they use the snowshoes.

There are some rather confused snow shoe enthusiasts out there. A perfect example would be those that walk up under the chair at resorts. I mean, I understand the beauty of being able to walk on top of the snow to access remote areas, but under a chairlift?

Remoteness can be a terror.
