weather prediction for winter 06-07. Starting around November it will start to snow on the Mtn. We will be skiing off and on until the second week in december when the mtn's start getting good coverage. Then it will be cold and snowy for the next 3-4 months. Then it will be mud season. Personal experiences may vary.

How do you know that?? What's it based upon?? Who's statistics are you using?? How many years have you been tracking this?? How do you know what causes it???

Sound like hogwash to me... :)

Tea leaves, fuzzy caterpillars, cat's tails, crickets, chicken blood, and statistics. That's all you need to predict the weather as accurately as it's possible to predict it.

This winter will have cold day and warmer days; snowy days and rainy days; sunny days and cloudy days. We all will ski.

I just got back home to Long Island and my wife told me that Killington called to ask why I had not renewed my season pass. I just opened my mail and there is a reminder in it from ASC to renew my pass before October 10th. Could they be hard up for money?????

I think I might renew the pass, I will think about it overnight. I would get a Ski Sundown pass, but at $479 it's expensive for a modest sized mountain.

I have this feeling that this winter will be extremely cold and snowy, last year it was like this in the Eastern Hemisphere, and except for very brief incursions into North America, the extreme cold never made it very far south.

I also think there will be alot of snow again in Southern New England like last season and the snow drought in Maine will continue:evil: :uzi: :flame:
