The Mansfield area got hit 6-12" of heavy snow in the last storm, which has re-covered a lot of stuff that wasn't quite so skiable a few days ago; even then, the higher-elevation stuff was still in pretty good shape. I think I'm going to take a PTO day and hit Stowe tomorrow, and I'll try to post here tomorrow night if I do.

Well, it now appears that I am not going to Stowe tomorrow. However, I did hike and ski Bolton today and will say that the ten or so really good turns I got made the hiking worthwhile (most of the others were in snow that was either too crusty or too heavy to be really good but were still enjoyable). I will be at Stowe on Saturday and most likely Sunday; I was hoping to catch up with one of the handful of folks I know who are familiar with some of the not-quite-official terrain tomorrow, but that's not working with their schedules.

Another forum said it wasn't worth the drive. Now the wife's talking utah again. I am going to go broke.
