As a former F&B manager at the resort, I'd be PISSED about this promo. F&B always gets the shaft on packages in terms of amount credited to the department. Then at the end of the season they wonder why your costs are up.

Considering the night skiing component, $399 is a pretty fair price. Ragged is $329 for a much better mountain, but no night skiing and a good 45 minutes further away from metro Manchester.

The family pass is the real killer deal that Crotched has always offered. It's a full season pass PLUS midnight madness, and covers up to 5 people.

But back on the original note, I'm not sure how Peak counts their passes. Technically, Crotched, Attitash, and Mt Snow are all on the same team, but there has to be some sort of per mountain accounting for the selling of passes. But who knows, maybee this year, the burgers will be smaller, and the pizza place will go away.

Very good deal. I wonder how Pats Peak will match them.

Guess that'll depend on how badly Pat's season passes are going. But I never really got the feeling that Pats was so much of a season pass Mt as a 'POP Sat' mountain. :-D

most likely with more on mountain improvements rather than with discounted food.

If only. Pat's is coolio for the midweek/small family trips, but Pats typical summer improvements generally are along the lines of, "One new/used 20 year old snowgun". There really isn't much they can do, they've saturated the mountain with all the trails they can.

I still believe Crotched has been left by the wayside after the purchase of Mount Snow and Attitash.

I don't think they where left by the side, I think it was more along the lines of, 'Ok, look, you can hold your own, and we've got bigger fish to fry now'. After the purchase of Mt Snow/Attitash, I definatly saw a cutback in how Crotched operated. They used to do a massive push to open within a few days of snowmaking begining. Now, I haven't seen them with all the guns on for a while.
