Four kids, and not once did I ride with any of them while they were learning to drive. That was dad's job. That was a good choice for all of us. No learner's permit required in NH.

This is a very cool program: http://www.nhmagazine.com/thingstodo/404330-103/skids-and-kids.html

From that article: "I've written about this school in the past, and I always like to point out that I don't know anyone who's ever been killed parallel parking.

But I have received a letter from the father of a dead girl who rolled an SUV because she did not know how to properly use ABS or make an emergency lane change. If only she had known, he wrote."

It was time for my last of 3 children to take her road test, As we approached the DMV road test area there was a guy pulling into the park lot that obviously need some improvement before getting his drivers license. I told my daughter to slow down and make sure he gets in line for the test before you. We had a bet with ourselves that he would not signal left turn before pulling out from the curb. We were right no signal. We had a good laugh. I told my daughter he failed and your going to look great compared to him. This took the pressure off my daughter and she relaxed. When it was my daughter's turn sure enough the dmv tester complained the entire time to my daughter how bad the previous guy was and my daughter passed. :spread:
