P.S. I like the "watch out" primal yell...they should get their tickets yanked....

Why I contantly drill in to my children...stop on the side of the trail where you can be seen, and always look up hill....

And if I get a boarder or skiier taking a line behind me and my children on the side of the trail one more time....

Personally - I prefer when people sit in the middle... Becuase I enjoy the snow on the side of the trail..

And this is why it never bothers me...I never seem to be near the morons who sit right in the middle.

Unfortunately, now the Hunter ambassadors who were hired to control that bad behaviour stand on the side of the trail and yell at the schmucks in the middle.

And I also agree that passive/aggressive stuff like spraying snow is not cool...all it does is make those idiots more likely to sit in the middle. I leave it alone secure in the knowledge that one day one of their own will run into them out of control and run over their necks with an edge.

In a lift line or on a chair is really the only place smokers are allowed to puff anyway. Can't smoke indoors anymore (thank god) so let them have there fix in peace.

No. If I have to breath their 2nd hand smoke, then they there must be retribution.

They can still smoke indoors in Vermont. It's horrible if you go out to breakfast and the place is filled up. Thank goodness Sugar and Spice has the ban on.

Totally wrong...you CANNOT smoke in any establishement that I know of in Killington...CASEYS..no....Lookout...no...etc..

Im pretty positive they put a law into effect last season VT state wide.

They did! That's awesome. There's a place we eat in Bennington now and then and they had the smokers in an enclosed glass room. Didn't realize they finally caught up and passed the law. We intentionally avoided eating anywhere but there and the S&S because of that.

OK, hold the phone. As a general rule, whne you ski with my group, if you are down, you are a canidate for a snow job. It's good incentive to get up quickly.

That's how I learned to "pop up" and keep going after a fall. Use your body, shoulders and arms to bouce off the snow.

Correct.

“A place of public access” means any place of business, commerce, banking, financial service, or other service-related activity, whether publicly or privately owned and whether operated for profit or not, to which the general public has access or which the general public uses, including buildings, offices, means of transportation, common carrier waiting rooms, arcades, restaurants, bars and cabarets, retail stores, grocery stores, libraries, theaters, concert halls, auditoriums, arenas, barber shops, hair salons, Laundromats, shopping malls, museums, art galleries, sports and fitness facilities, planetariums, historical sites, common areas of nursing homes, hospitals, resorts, hotels and motels, including the lobbies, hallways, elevators, restaurants, restrooms, cafeterias, and buildings or facilities owned or operated by a social, fraternal, or religious club. ( A separate Vermont law bans all tobacco use on the grounds of public schools.)

Dude, you are so right.

....until the day I went for an epic snow on a downed buddy, missed, and snowed a family of 5 (with 3 little ones), which was quickly followed by a blizzard and deep freeze. They weren't found until that June's spring skiing....and I still have nightmare's of the horrified looks on their faces seconds before my epic wave engulfed them....forever.

Giving friends a snow job is one thing...doing the same to strangers (especially kids), even if it seems like they deserve it, is entirely different...

If you intentionally sprayed me I'd most likely yell at you and leave it at that. If you ever did it to any of my kids, though, you better hope I don't see you for the rest of the day...

I make it a point to snow (spray snow onto) boarders when they sit RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TRAIL. Everyone needs a break sometimes and that's what the SIDES of the trails are for.

Spray me - and I'll kick your ass...

Don't sit your sorry a$$ in the middle of a run and you won't have to worry about it. Of course to kick my a$$ you'd have to a) catch me and b) be able to back up those words. I doubt you could do either.

Just like a boarder to puff up the chest and threaten someone they never met. Typical. It's people like you who give your sport a bad name. FU

Nope...I just think it's inappropriate for an adult to get physical with someone else's kid...

I DO give my kids a hard time when I see them get in the way of others...but it's my job as a parent to do so.

If I'm not around, I don't mind my kids getting a bit of a "corrective and constructive" tongue-lashing from someone, but that's where it has to end.

Sorry if anyone disagrees with me, but that's just the protective parent in me talking...

How is snowing someone in the middle of a trail getting physical? I'm not striking them with poles or skis. The only thing coming in contact with them is snow which is already in contact with them b/c they're sitting on snow.
