If you hadn't gotten two good days up north would it be as frustrating? I suspect it would feel like par for the course.
I haven't gotten any days in yet and it's frustrating for me! ;)

I've never skied this early before. But I'm really feeling the pull this year. And I'm really limited because I'm a nursing mother, so I can't be away from the littlest one for long. :( So no local options=no options for me, at the moment. Almost made it to Hunter on Sunday though. We would have had to bring him with us and taken turns... but then I got a stomach bug so that was the end of that. :puke:

Ummm, yeah. That would be taken turns watching the boy. And just so no one thinks we're bad parents, I didn't mention our daughter because she was at Grandma's for the weekend.
Me thinks you gotta talk to Grandma about taking both once a month S! Making time for yourselves = happier parents! If B doesn't want to go, take off anyways and make some time for yourself.

I never go by those "long range forecasts". I prefer the timetable pilots use. After 45 minutes weather info is worthless.

I know, most people feel the same way as you do. I have a different opinion though. Most long-term forecasts are for a trend or pattern, not specific events or specific highs and lows. I'd love to hear a real weather geeks take on this but it seems like they are pretty correct when they do these things. Tracking a specific storm 4 days out seems like more of a crapshoot then determing whether a 3 or 4 week period will be warmer or colder then normal.
