I know someone who went out to Big Mountain for a season plkaning on living there... the atmosphere and way of life and the way people acted just wasn't the same. Not as nice of a "local" feel so to speak, so they came back to New England.

yup, I met people who lasted six months and other who were lifers. I am still on the fence. I miss 300+ days of sunshine a year, 300+ inches of snow, no black flies, no poison ivy, no allergies, younger and more open-minded people, better jobs, less hicks....uhhhh, I'd better shut up and get my flame suit on.
