With so many different ways to get there...whats the fastest? Coming from Long Island. Also, where's a good place to spend ST.Pats day. After six and half hours driving I'm going to need a few.

....oh and I may be out in Stowe that night. If so...probably the Sunset Grill and Tap. Dutch pancake house for breakfast in the morning! (Best breakfast EVER!)

...never mind..you mean the sushi joint and restaurant not too far from the mountain. I confused it with the mountaineer. Sushi and Guinness....mmmmm.

I'll defer to others on nightlife. I won't defer on the breakfast, though. The dutch pancake house is located at the Grey Fox Inn.

BTW...that's 100 north from I 89.

Will you be skiing that Sunday?
We haven't nailed down the itinerary yet, Slug. It's either Jay or Stowe. We plan on skiing both for the weekend. We'll have our radios on 6-36. If you make it out Saturday night look for me. I'll be wearing a green sweater and a red "Steal your face" hat.

On Friday, March 16th take 91 to 89. Take Exit 9 and follow Rte. 100 South to the intersection of Rte 17 and Rte 100. Turn right and in a couple of miles turn left on German Flats Road and then take first right into Mt. Ellen and ski for $17 on the eve of St. Patrick's Day. Then you can go to Stowe!

Can't argue with the Dutch Pancake, but don't overlook McCarthy's either for breakfast.
