I find if I ask the customer for help with speed control in the area four out of five times they are nice. tell them to slow down they get all bent. Its all in the delivery.

Have never clipped a ticket yet although i probably should have a few times.

Only time I've ever been told to slow down is in a slow skiing area where I was wrong. Even in those situations I've typically been way off to the side of the trail as to not make beginners nervous.

If I had a situation like steeze encounters at Blue frequently, I would have a big problem with the patrol and put up a fight much like he does.

So long as the patroller was respectful, I would be respectful right back. If I ever had a patroller clearly on a power trip start reaming me out without clear cut justification, I am not sure I would react so favorably. I have had patrollers motion for me to slow down in slow zones, and I have complied, but otherwise in my 25 years of skiing have never really had an encounter with patrol.
