Just curious...where is everyone skiing that every run sucks by the end of the day? I understand smaller, busier places, but I know at Killington it's never an issue for me. Sure the main boulevards are scraped off, but there are always plenty of places that are still decent.

At the Loaf it is generally a good idea to get early runs on the weekend. However, if you know where to look there can be good runs late in the day with far less crowds. For me, I consider the expected terrain and lifts to be open, weather, crowds etc and plan the day accordingly. Again like most, early season tends to be first chair and later in the season tends to be last chair.

Cool idea for a thread HPD.

I'll take first chair over last every time.

I'll take skiing, any chair, or earned turns, over anything else except maybe sex with my girl.

As a Patroller - I get 'em both....
