I skied till the last day I could without flying. "lift serviced" I'm ok to move on.

I'll miss it when the frost comes and then its tough waiting to get out for the 1st time.

I'll miss the winter friends the most. We make an effort to get together, but its not the same as seeing the same good friends almost every weekend for six plus months.

Yes, I'm having withdrawals. My season ended without me planning my last day. My last real ski day was in early March without me knowing it. I skied 3 runs at the Bump or Bust Comp (mostly just to find a spot to take pictures from) and somehow, that ended up being my last day. Not satisfied but that's how it ended up this year.

i get realllly cranky after my season wraps up and my wife lets me be. several years ago i invested a few bucks in a stereo rig. when i get home from work, i walk over to my rig and fire up my music til my kids go to bed. this helps me the most. again, my wife lets me be. it took her sometime to figure out. in fact, she figured it out before i did and did not make sense to her, but she accepted it and lets me be.

Sound like classic SNOW MENOPAUSE symptoms. No known cure.

Im doing ok as far as withdrawls go, but im going to go make some more turns either at K or Tux. I'd really like to make some June turns this year. After getting up to Tux and seeing what its all about, im willing to hike up to the bowl and ski whats left of Left Gully in June. Prolly go hike around K in the next week or 2. do a SS lap and a couple up high in the canyon (DD, cascade, catwalk, east fall). I need to re-start my mtn biking season, but my shoulder is hurting so im not sure how thats going to go. plus my bike is all f-ed up again, so that needs some work. Im gonna try and not burn myself out thinking about snow. people joke about how its a drug, but i think its about as close to one as it gets...

I hope so.

I got withdrawl bad, I dreamed this morning that I was driving by Mountain Creek and by some miracle they were open so I turned around and got my gear and was heading back. Then the alarm went off.

A little bit of withdrawl here.

Been really busy with life.

And it was a satisfying season that ended with no injuries.

Always a good thing.

Hi everyone, My name is psyflyer I'm 30 and have a riding problem.
I live slope-side and rode this season from start to finish (last @ Jay when it was 80 degrees) and although it was a great season I still miss it big time and can't wait for November. Although the summer has plenty of activities, to me nothing compares. Im glad there are other people like me bcs sometimes I think it must be me that its insane as nobody can enjoy winter that much.

Nice perspective from the wise one.

Zero withdrawal here. Zero.
