I'd say Red is great if you're doing the powder highway because even if it's off conditions, Rossland is a terrific mountain town but otherwise the rest of the interior BC/AB resorts are better choices.

Closer to banff or your drive up there?

Castle is 40 minutes from Canmore where I was staying. KH was much further.

Are we talking Castle Mountain the ski area? That one's 3 hours south of Canmore. There's a Castle Mountain in Banff but no lifts.

Turns out you’re right but I got thrown because there’s another Castle Mountain near Canmore. That makes me feel better.
