Raise money and enjoy a day on the slopes to help fight cancer.

Henniker, NH, January 26, 2012 - PATS PEAK, southern New Hampshire's favorite mountain, announces it will be hosting the 2nd Annual American Cancer Society's Hope on the Slopes event on Sunday, February 12th. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. with skiing/riding beginning at 8:30 a.m. and snowtubing at 9:00 a.m.

Hope on the Slopes is a fun, memorable experience and a great way to raise money to fight cancer. Participants enjoy a day of fun, exercise, and camaraderie, while honoring someone they love whom this disease has affected. Whether you're a recreational skier, a snowboarder, a downhill racer, a tubing enthusiast, or just want to help in the fight against cancer, you can join this worthwhile event.

Participants gather donations from friends and family and enjoy a fun-filled day on the slopes. A $35 registration fee ($15 for Pats Peak Season Pass Holders) and a minimum of $100 raised per participant, includes a full-day lift or tubing ticket. Raise $150 to compete in the Vertical Challenge and raise $500 to be eligible to win a 2012/2013 Pats Peak Season Pass.

"It's a great spin on the classic "Relay" events. We love to see the skiers and riders come out to support a great cause! Their "Skiing in Memory of ..." and "Riding in Honor of ..." badges really make a great statement on the mountain!", says Celina Braun, Group Sales Coordinator.
