Wow think about this. The best part is you will know weeks ahead of time where the big powder dumps happen and where avalanches did not happen. Now how cool is that. ;-) And you thought this movie was dumb.

Great for what it was: An over-the-top spoof on cheesy 80's flicks.

just saw this movie to see what it was all about. loved it. definitely had a terrible ending, but the first half was pretty darn funny.

the real story though is that redbox is a wonderful thing... seeing any movie for a buck feels like stealing

With Redbox, they also have a code for a free rental on the 1st Monday of every month. You can't reserve with that code, but a free rental is nice. They used to be more generous with the free codes (so that for the first couple months we used them, I think we paid maybe twice) but they've cracked down on that.

I have no problem paying $1 to rent a movie.

I LOVE that you can now reserve movies online. Kids pick the movie online (with no one standing behind them rushing them) and Dad picks it up on the way home from work. We LOVE Redbox. 8)

for us, Redbox works great because we stop at 7-11 after we leave the house Fri night, the kids watch the movie while we drive to K, we return it outside the Price Chopper in Rutland. Then on the way back we reverse the process. Its worth $1 to keep them quiet for 2 hours...

That's a great use of Redbox! I don't think I would have thought of doing that.

Finally saw it this past weekend. And with a couple of beers in me at the time, I laughed my way all the way through it! I think that between the fact that I skied that generation (the great late 80's) and the fact the in the movie, all the main charaters were cast at an age similar to mine, and in a sense were at a stage of their life (before they hot tub time machine did its thing) that I'm at right now, it was great. Ending cheesy - yup, But the major 80's stoke was great, and the number of what I'm sure was John Cusack inspired references from Better off Dead was great! Even my wife, who normally doesn't like as she calls them "stupid guy movies" couldn't walk away from it because of all the 80's flashbacks and film satire!

We watched it last night with a few beers as well, good mindless movie. Loved seeing the 80's gear and references. Some pretty laugh out load scenes, the bet on the Elway TD was priceless.

Not Dumb and Dumber funny but good.

To quote my wife "I can't believe I actualy liked that movie".
