I am heading up to Northern Vermont tommorow. The plan is to ski either Jay or Stowe on saturday and Bolton on sunday.

It's a long drive, but the skiing up there looks better than skiing on manmade further south.

Sure does, weather being the biggest. I'm thinkin I should get 8 more, but who knows.
Keep us informed on Whiteface's conditions. I want to get another weekend up there, but in warmer temps.
3 days at Alta and the Bird
Hopefully a few more at Hunter and Belleayre. This Sunday and Monday for sure.
Maybe extend into late April somewhere, K-Mart possibly for some slush bumps.
I feel like I got gyped out of half my winter so I'm going to try to get as much spring skiing in as possible.

having done 13 this season, i would love to double that number so i estimate 13 more. 7 more in the next 10 days, couple of trips to washington, couple late season at either jay, cannon, or the cat, and a lift serviced and hike up kmart. i might even get 30 total if burke is hikable after they close. so 13-17 range sounds nice to me.

If I were you... I'd take a day off of Heavenly and add one to Kirkwood or even better head up to rt 80 and over to Sugarbowl.....

Is your employer looking for new employees?

Guessing you must work at a ski resort.

we are hiring actually in the valley here. I interviewed someone yesterday.

To answer the second question, NO. I don't work for aspen ski company. I am in sales for a full line food service distributor, so I set my own hours. Most days consist of work from 7-9am ski from 9-11/12 unless its super good, then i can push it to about 2pm. then back to work until 7/8pm. I usually see all my clients up on the hill so really there is no work to be done. (don't tell my boss) My wife is an attorney and skis with me almost everyday. Some people go to the gym for 2 hours, we ski. After the mountain closes so do most of the business' so my work load drops about 75% and hence more time each day that is needed for the BC. Don't think we don't work hard. Jam 20K of good ole Ajax Mtn vertical in your schedule each day and feel the tired at the end of everyday.

Today was a perfect ski day, fresh snow for the last few days, and blue bird today....just in case you were wondering.

Hopefully if the weather holds I can manage about 12-14 more days out. I am at 63 days right now so that should put me in the mid 70's!

seriously?

Amazing! Yes, I'm sales manager for a food prep equipment wholesaler. Mostly food prep equipment like bakery mixers, food choppers, food warmers, soup warmers, coffee makers, etc. Lots of repair parts and accessories too.

And I'm sure you work hard...folks like us who play hard always seem to understand they need to work hard too.

The big difference between us seems to be that you chose to work in an area with reliable natural snow while I have to make due with reliable manmade snow and a little natural.

But not this season...and I just bagged on a trip to northern VT because of the big warmup last weekend, assuming all the tree shots would be flash frozen crap. Would've been a 6 1/2 hour drive each way with my wife and 3 kids, but the time and money commitment didn't seem worth it for groomed trails.

Of course, it's been puking snow up there since Tuesday when I cancelled out.

The noise you hear is my foot kicking myself in the butt.
