Thanks for the kind words. Hopefully, we'll keep skiing on the brain for you throughout the summer too!

I thinking about that as I was taking all of my somewhat vague guess the ski area pictures this past winter. With all the turmoil that is upcoming for me this summer with moving my house and business, the summer should go by fast.

I look forward to meeting more AZ'ers next winter now that I will be living on the "mainland":p

CT, right? Did you find a house? We'll definitely have to hit up Sundown a bunch of times next season. My daughter will be learning to ski there and I need to pick your brain on getting your children hooked! :)

C.T, yes, right now all we have semi-finalized is a place for the business in Bloomfield. I will actually be back up to Connecticut tomorrow looking at a commercial place in East Hartford. I have not been there, so I don't know what to expect.

I am looking forward to skiing with you for sure next winter. I want to get in a few days at Mohawk as well as Sundown. I was thinking about maybe becoming a member of the Bradford ski club, depending on how close we end up living to the MA line.

If you're living in CT...why Bradford? I live on the RI/CT border...and the thought of driving to Haverhill (1.45) on 495...*shudder*

Why not Wachusett?

I've decided that I'm only going to officially plan two more days (tomorrow and Saturday). I will then refocus on working around the house. Not saying I won't get out again, but I'm not going to plan on it and I'm okay with that. 21 days in this season which is a helluva lot more than I expected. The goal was 12-15.

Official Closing Schedule

3/26: Sugarbush
3/27: MRG
4/2-4/3: Killington

4/2 is Wa's scheduled closing day. With the snow they have, they may be able to make it to 4/9. If they close 4/2, I'll only make it there once more. If they close 4/9, twice.

My mistake, I meant to say Blandford Ski Club in Blandford, not Ski Bradford in Haverhill.

Don't see it happening until the beginning of May at the earliest. In any case, if they do, I'll be hiking.

I think he meant that was his closing schedule. AKA the last times he will be getting out this season.

A friend of mine has passes at Blandford, we got passes to Ski Butternut. At $199 per ($79 for the tyke) it was hard to pass up.

Any ideas on where the homestead will be? I know you had mentioned a few towns nearby.

Did you consider Catamount? $199 also. Better terrain, IMO.

No idea yet on where the house will be, but the two possible choices for the business location are Bloomfield and East Hartford. We would like to live in East Hampton/Colchester, Manchester or the Tolland/Vernon area.

As far as skiing is concerned, we really liked the skiing at Blandford, it's a small place but packs alot into a small space.I also like the possibility of becoming a member of a ski club owned area.
