I've survived 32 years, and have skied since I was 4.

I skied skied 40-50 days/season through the end of high school, dropped into the 20s in college, into the teens post college, and now get by with a few days a year (between diaper changes).

I'm 50. Skied thru my grade school years then left the sport. Picked it back up in 2002.

Older than OldsnowboarderME and I started when I was about 10. My parents basically forced me to start as I had no interest which is kinda wierd cause my parents had never even been to a ski hill. My father had retired from the New York City PD when I was 3 and moved the family up to the Daks next to the Vermont border.

I'm 30. I started skiing in grade school and took a break for various reasons sometime in high school. I mostly skied the local hill in the town ski program after school with very occasional trips to bigger mountains. I picked it up again like 10 years later finally, that was like 5 years ago I guess. I'm able to ski at a lot more places now, but I still spend a lot of time at the local hill...
