Haven't had a chance to get out this weekend. How'd the rain last night affect the bases?

Minimally, I'd imagine. Doesn't seem to have gotten as warm as it was supposed to today either. I'm also hearing of another cool-down at the end of March. Not to worry, we will be lift-serviced skiing at many areas well into April this year.

That'd be awesome. :-D Since I was home with the kids, it was hard to tell exactly how hard it had been raining, had nightmares of earlier this year. :-D

No real impact at Sunapee today from what I could see. There were a few thin spots but nothing that some grooming couldn't fix. Temps were ideal today IMO...warm enough to soften things up but not enough to create mashed potatoes.

When I was at Crotched last week, it looked like they had plenty of snow to get through the end of the month.

At most places, you're looking at some very deep bases, this little bit of weather isn't affecting them much.

The warmth this week could hurt some, but if things cool off toward the end of it, I bet we see skiing into April pretty much everywhere that is willing to run the lifts.

Bases....

Gore seemed alright today. Ended up leaving around 1230 because it was too icy for me, but still managed to snag a voucher. Base is alright, just needs to warm up alittle to soften up. Seemed perfect for high speed slalom turns though.
