I had class in the morning till 9 then headed up to get in some skiing. I was booted up and ready to go by 10:45 and hopped on the chair.(attached on the left as you look out the lodge). On the ride up, my feet were killing me(new boots) so I decided to go down and pull the lift out to give me more room. As I got to the bottom and walking to the lodge I saw Jim G. We talked for a few seconds and then I worked on my boots. Caught back up with him after 1 run, and then we skied the rest of the day together.

They opened the high speed quad around 11 and we were lapping that. Hellgate/7th/Kennedy. Nice snow, that started to get scraped off in the middle of Hellgate by the end, the rest of the trails held up great.

We saw DMC rippen on his board below us, on 1 lift ride up, but he didn't hear Jim.

All in all a real fun day. They were blowing heavy on alot of trails, and will open Belt and Minya tomorrow.

Well, there you go.

Another good day. Snowmaking on Belt and Minya/Lower Crossover; both will open tomorrow.

Skiing on mainline was great all day. Ran top to bottom laps with the dmc/Eski crew after lunch. Very nice. Fun stuff.

Tomorrow is a family day and Sunday I have soccer to do.

Hoping for a Monday snow dumping somewhere. Killington anyone?

I;m hoping to hit K on Tuesday, looks like Monday it will be too long of a commute with the road conditions, let me know if your gonna be up there.

gonna do killington tuesday or wednesday myself. Tuesday if i'm solo but a co-worker wants to ski with me and can only go wednesday so it depends on whether he is serious or not.

Pat, I would enjoy skiing with you again...I'll postpone my trip there until you have finalized your plans with your buddy.
