hunter sucks!
SkiSkee8, I wish more people would think the same way you do. If they did I would ski at Hunter more on weekends. :spin:

SkiSkee8 - Given you don't like Hunter, I am just curious what ski area in the North East do you like? I hope you enjoy your very first trip to Kmart in March.

Racers and Ike were primo...and the Broadway bumps were amazing. That entire bowl between Bleeker and Midstation was bumped. Sorry to hear they mowed Racers.

Upper Xover and lower K were also sweet, as was Purna. But the most fun I had was in the glade area next to Milky Way because it was my son Peter's first try at some mellow woods skiing. He loved it and feels like he's an insider at the mountain now; bragged to his older brother that he "poached some woods shots with Dad".

Great weekend!

Great job by Peter!

I've never been to the NE. Only been to Snowmass, Heavenly, Tahoe, Whistler, and Park City. Thought I'd try something new this year.

So what basis do you have to claim Hunter sucks? Sounds pretty lame to me...

Look...Hunter sucks because its ugly, small, and easy. When I'm on top of a mountain, I don't want to have views of uncovered mountains. I want to see snow everywhere. You can't find that at Hunter. It's a cheapy knock off resort.

SkiSkee8 - I think you should go troll somewhere else.

I have skied at a number of resorts out west, British Columbia, and Austria. Including the last seven years at Jackson Hole. There are a number of big name resorts on the east coast that I would label as easy. Hunter is not a ski area I would label easy. Hunter has a lot of extremely difficult challenging terrain. There are many trails at Hunter that if you fall you may need to self arrest to stop before you hit something. I don't call that easy. Does Hunter have a Corbets, Alta two, or Tower Three level of difficulty? No not too many resorts do.

I am guessing you skied Hunter when it was not completely opened or most likely your just trolling here.

Either way someone could get hurt real bad if they think all the trails at Hunter are easy.

SkiSkee8...

Acne: Acne constantly whines about how, like... his life and everything really sucks and stuff. Usually a middle class teenager with an allowance, unlimited access to a computer and WAY too much time on his hands. Acne's vague existential arguments about the meaningless of life and emptiness of existence are culled from the lyrics of the 20 gigs of MP3s he has squirreled away on his hard drive.
