Hunter Mtn Wireless Internet Access

I just found this under Hunter Mtns What's new for 2006-07

Wireless Internet: Much of the upstairs of the Base Lodge is now a "hot spot" for wireless internet. Stop by the main information desk to get connected!

This is great news. It provides me some additional options. So my questions are this. If I have to call into a business conference call for an hour and access the internet at the same time, how much is the charge to access the internet from the Hunter Mtn lodge? Also are there any quiet places to talk on the phone? I can attempt to do VoIP. If VoIP doesn't work I have used my cell phone at Hunter without any problems.

To me that's good customer service. Some skiers and riders can't leave the job completely behind on a given day. They can keep in touch with work, happy boss, employee gets to ski, Hunter sells a ticket they would otherwise lose out on. Everybody wins.

I am one of those. I work part time with a flexible schedule, so I can be on the slopes midweek. However, I always need to be "reachable". Internet access means I can fix a problem remotely and then go back out to ski some more.

I don't carry communication devices when I ski inbounds...only my cell phone when OB or BC.

I have a feeling this job I'm in is going to force me to carry a cell on occasion... But it's much better then sitting at home waiting... And if someone doesn't like it... too bad..

I have to carry a cell this Thursday at a RatDog show...
